Since starting my career at P&G, I have been given more and more responsibility, after two years as a team leader and after four years as a department manager. The fact that “as a woman” I am the boss of 50 men is not discussed here. I particularly like how much trust is placed in me. Through good coaching, I learn every day and have the opportunity to help shape the future. I am particularly pleased about the cooperation between P&G and Femtec. I hope to meet more alumnae in the company soon. The fact that my company supports Femtec makes me proud, because what Femtec does is not important for women, but also for society.

MAREN BURGHOF, FEMTEC ALUMNA, OPERATIONS DEPARTMENT MANAGER – P&G WORMS PLANT

With the largest number of R&D and innovation sites outside the U.S. and eight German production plants for many of our leading brands such as Oral-B, Ariel, Pampers, Gillette, Braun, P&G Germany offers a wide range of national as well as international professional entry, development and career opportunities within the company. Our production facilities in Euskirchen, Berlin, Crailsheim and Groß-Gerau, among others, manufacture products for the entire global market and, in some cases, oversee the production of production lines at various locations in Europe. Using the latest technology, we are expanding our leading market position and this offers a unique opportunity to apply technical competence and management talent under real conditions and with concrete tasks.

The collaboration with Femtec enables P&G to promote female talent in engineering and science while they are still studying. We also see Femtec as an ideal partner for reaching and inspiring highly qualified female graduates to join our company. Beyond professional aspects, gender equality is a focus area of our commitment as part of the P&G Citizenship Strategy, alongside environmental sustainability, local contribution, and diversity and inclusion.
