DATA PROTECTION INFORMATION

With this data protection notice, we inform you about the collection and processing of personal data for the Femtec Agents Pool and the rights to which you are entitled.

2. Reason and purpose of data processing
Femtec GmbH collects and processes personal data for the Femtec Agents Pool. Femtec alumnae are included in this pool, who are available as Femtec ambassadors, role models and professionals with their expertise and experience. With the help of the data collected, Femtec alumnae can be contacted or referred if a speaker, active participant or networker is needed for Femtec events, projects, enquiries or similar.

3. Which personal data is collected and processed
The following personal data is requested and recorded for the Femtec Agents Pool:
• Last name
• First name
• Title
• Contact us
• Femtec-Class
• City/ Region
• MINT areas/subjects
• Expertise
• Company/ University/ Organisation
• Position
• Available for… (e.g. events, portraits, interviews)

You can leave individual query criteria blank and decide at any time to have your data deleted or updated in the Femtec Agents Pool. To do so, please contact Femtec GmbH as the data controller (see section 1). Until then, your data will be stored.

4. Duration of data storage
We store your data as long as this is necessary for the purpose of the Femtec Agents Pool.

5. Legal basis for data processing
We process the data on the basis of the consent of the parties involved (Art. 6 para. 1 lit a GDPR).

6. Recipient of the data
An order processing agreement has been concluded with Tivian/Unipark. Tivian/Unipark is not authorised to process personal data. The stored data is hosted in the data centre of Tivian/Unipark’s service provider in Frankfurt am Main, which is reliably protected against access by third parties. This ISO 27001, ISO 27018-certified and C5-tested data centre is subject to the strictest data protection and security standards.

The data collected in Tivian/Unipark or elsewhere is stored on Femtec’s internal organisational drive and can only be viewed and processed by Femtec GmbH employees.

7. Rights of the participants

Right to information (cf. Art. 15 GDPR)
You have the right to information about the processing of your personal data in accordance with. Art. 15 GDPR.

Right to rectification (see Art. 16 GDPR)
You have the right to have inaccurate personal datarectified. Taking into account the purposes of the processing, you have the right to have incomplete personal data completed, including by means of providing a supplementary statement.

Right to erasure / right to be “forgotten” (see Art. 17 GDPR)
You have the right to erasure of personal data, in particular if the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was processed or if you havewithdrawn your consent.

Right to restriction of processing / blocking (see Art. 18 GDPR)
You have the right to restriction of processing, in particular if the accuracy of the personal data is contested by you, for a period enabling us to verify the accuracy of the personal data.

Right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and have the right to transmit those data to another controller without hindrance from us, where the processing is based on consent or on a contract and the processing is carried out by automated means.

Right to object (see Art. 21 GDPR)
You have the right to object to the processing of personal data, in particular in the case of processing for direct marketing purposes.

Automated decisions in individual casesincluding profiling (see Art. 22 GDPR)
You have the right not to be subject to a decision based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you. This does not apply if the decision is necessary for the conclusion or fulfilment of a contract between you and us, is permitted by law and these regulations contain appropriate measures to safeguard your rights and freedoms and your legitimate interests or is made with your express consent.

Right to lodge a complaint (see Art. 77 GDPR)
