It’s celebration time!

This year, “Talent Take Off,” our study orientation program developed in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Society, is celebrating its 15th anniversary!

Fifteen years: Almost as old as the participants, who can join as school students from the 10th grade or as STEM students from university. TTO is all about young people passionate about science or whose spark for STEM still needs to be ignited!

The programme offers a broad range of orientation opportunities, from technology workshops and visits to Fraunhofer Institutes to exciting lectures, stimulating conversations, and discussions with other students and renowned scientists on groundbreaking research topics. It helps STEM enthusiasts with their study choices and allows STEM students to gain practical insights into “applied research” to advance their career planning.

In today’s complex landscape of careers, training, and study options, thorough research is essential – but nothing compares to hands-on experience. The heart of TTO is getting to know different perspectives through direct conversations and receiving personal advice and guidance from both experienced professionals and peers. That’s why we are especially proud of the network that has grown and developed over these 15 years, providing a space for enriching exchanges, valuable experiences, and inspiring ideas.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Fraunhofer Society for the long-standing and valuable cooperation. They have made TTO possible in its diverse form and have continuously provided young talents with practical insights and connections in science. We look forward to many more years of collaboration, where we continue to ignite the passion for STEM and inspire the next generation with the same spark that has driven us for the past 15 years!
